First you have to make two bird feeders or buy some.
Get feed and sugar
put feed in both of the feeders, then put sugar in one of them ( make sure you mix it up)
then you wait for birds to come. Put the bird feeder some days before you wont to start recording data.
Hang it in a high place

rope to hang the feeders
a camera to record your data
chill powder to keep the squirrels away
Variables
My variable is if it has sugar or no sugar. because I will put one up with sugar and one with out sugar. What I will keep the same is, where it was put, what kind of feed, and the hight will stay the same.

I will be testing wrens. these birds are fine speeches they are one of the smaller birds in the bird nation

Well what happened is that I took to long to put out the feeders. So it took a long time for the birds to come. Then when I thought it could not not get any worst it rained, not till the day after I saw that it had water in it.That was one of the problems I had with the bird feeders. I think the rain washed all the sugar. Then after that I got one bird in the sugar feed. I think I should have made a bigger distances between the feeders. I got more then just wrens too I got some bird that I did not know the name of. but hear is a photo of that bird.

Conclusion
My conclusion is that bird do not like sugar. So my hypothesis was wrong birds prefer what they are use to like regular bird feed.
